R’Yana Michele Oyabisi Anthony, M.Ed. (she/they)
R’Yana Michele Oyabisi Anthony is the High Priestess & Experience Architect of High Priestess Sanctuaries - a healing hospitality business catering to black femme healing and wholeness.
R’Yana Michele (she/they) is a Black Southern Hoodoo healer, organizer, abolitionist, and earth steward. As an Earth Dagara, she creates to facilitate authenticity, home, and belonging. They came into this world on a mission to: create expressions of the divine mother through pleasurable sanctuary building, healing arts, and land stewardship. R’Yana Michele Anthony uses community development strategy and ancient master building wisdom to develop land infrastructure and liberated spaces for Black divine feminine wellness and survival.
They hold a BA in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Community Development and Action (Community Psychology) and specializes in human development, community based mental health interventions, and building healing organizational cultures. She has worked for 15 years equipping organizations and communities to build power and dignity by developing strategies and practices that transform the way we live, work, and play. R’Yana has offered her gifts on the national level as the Care Ecosystems Director and Internal Weaving Director (Chief of Staff) for the New Economy Coalition, Affiliate Trainer for Race Forward, Southern Regional Organizer of the Black Lives Matter Global Network, Webinar Host and Facilitator for The Icarus Project (now Fireweed Collective), Program Associate for the Black Led Movement Fund at Borealis Philanthropy, and Loan Organizer for the New Economy of Tennessee Loan Fund.
